TRON Community Proposal No. 104, “Reducing Network Transaction Fees,” took effect on August 29, 2025, at 20:00 (Singapore Time). Transaction costs on the TRON network—particularly for USDT transfers—will now be significantly reduced.

Proposal Details:
Energy unit price reduced from 210 sun to 100 sun (1 TRX = 1,000,000 sun, equivalent to 0.0001 TRX); energy consumption cost per transaction cut by approximately 52%, with overall transaction fees reduced by about 60%.

• Before Proposal: Approx. 13.5 TRX consumed
• After Proposal: Approx. 6.4 TRX consumed

Impact on Users:
Synchronized reduction in leasing costs: Lower energy pricing means users paying for energy leases will consume fewer TRX, resulting in overall lower leasing expenses. Leasing becomes a more economical choice, especially for users with limited TRX reserves who require frequent transactions.
